Day 1

Food Report & Check-In


BREAKFAST


fresh local sausage 
cabbage
yellow onion
green apple

Cooked the sausage.  In  separate pan, using 2 TBS coconut oil,  sautéed the onion and apple then added chopped Napa cabbage.  Cut up sausage and served together.










LUNCH


lettuce - 3 variaties
carrots
celery
olives
avocado
artichoke hearts
leftover grilled chicken
oil & vinegar dressing
Kombucha









DINNER


CrockPot roast beef
carrots
brussel sprouts
onion
celery
parsnips
strip of bacon (cooked on top of roasted veggies)









CHECK-IN 

First day was good. Well prepared and meals planned.  That helped a lot.  I was very hungry between lunch and dinner.  Usually I have an afternoon snack.  So it was weird not having anything, but actually felt okay.  Dinner tasted so delicious

Chris made vegetable broth today and it tasted so good.  I realized how drinking a cup of hot nutrient rich broth felt comforting and so healthy.  We are going to make some bone broth next. 

I was really happy to see all the activity on the Facebook Group.  It is so great to read all the comments and see everyone supporting one another.  It is a very active group and I am excited to see how people’s live transform over the next 30 days.
